Candle Care Tips

Proper candle care includes the following steps:

  1. Trim the wick to at least ¼ inch before burning to prevent uneven burning, dripping, or flaring.
  2. Avoid drafts, vents, or air currents to prevent rapid or uneven burning, sooting, and excessive dripping.
  3. Burn the candle for 2-3 hours each time you light it to ensure even melting.
  4. Keep the wick trimmed to the length stated on the candle’s label.

Wax Melt Tips

  1. Remove melt from stem
  2. Add to electric wax burner or tealight burner
  3. Hot removal: If the wax is melted (liquid), use two cotton balls to absorb the liquid wax and dispose of them.
  4. Cold removal: Let the wax completely cool before attempting to remove your candles or melts from a mold. You can also place the mold in a refrigerator for a few minutes to make it easier to remove.

Storage Tips

  1. Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
  2. Store them in a drawer, cabinet, or closet for long-term storage.
  3. Avoid storing candles in the attic or garage if you live in a warm climate.
  4. Candles and wax melts can be kept for up to 24 months if stored correctly.
